This time book is on software estimation called “Software Estimation: Demystifying the Black Art”. He's got a new book out, and it's called (on Amazon.com), Software Estimation: Demystifying the Black Art (Best Practices (Microsoft)) (Paperback). Strict control is something that matters a lot on relatively useless projects and much less on useful projects. That's why I'm glad that superstar Steve McConnell dumped his wisdom into Software Estimation: Demystifying the Black Art. Steve McConnell, Software Estimation: Demystifying the Black Art.
